Greetings all!!!

I am fucking happy to announce that DARK ORDER have finished recording/Tracking our new album! After one year and nine months!!!!
The last of my vocals and speacial guest gang vocals were completed last night at Sonic Factory studios! Sean sang some gang vocals alongside special guests Marco (yep, my brother, the drummer), one of my best mates Fabian(el zombe del mapocho) Aquino and studio engineer Danel! The gang vocals sound fucking excellent, kind of like old AC/DC!!!

The songs are now ready for mixing, so that we can shape the songs into an album to fucking kick you all right in the fucking BALLS... the Thrash Metal way!!!

SO... we will now begin organizing our album launch and Australian Tour for 2010, so, if any bands are interested in playing support for DARK ORDER, please contact us!!!

Greetings all

In the midst of recording the last song, I have been struck with a strong throat virus which has caused delays in recording the vocals. My tonsils have swollen up!

Hopfully this week, I should be back on track for recording... I hope....

Today the band will be doing our photo shoot for the album, and it will be a very interesting photo shoot.... as Mr Spock would say, 'Facinating'...

I would like to thank the loyal THRASHERS that came to watch us at the Oxford Tavern, you showed us what it means to be a REAL metalhead and not posers!
Also, we as DARK ORDER would like to thank MAD CHARLIE and RAMPANT for playing fucking awesome sets with us at the OXFORD TAVERN, and for being the coolest of dudes! We will play more shows together!!!

Greeting to all!!!

Last Saturday and Sunday, 28th February/1st March, we had finished all Guitar solos and over dubs. This means that all the instruments are finished!!! We only have the vocals to do now. Big thanks to our Engineers Fulvio & Danel for their time over the weekend... and Lucius to!

Diego recorded amazing guitar solos, and I did 3 of my own as well....

So yes fans, the completion stage is drawing ever nearer, and to all that have heard the album so far, have all been blown away with the sound, so I'm happy.

...BUT... still lots of vocals to do.....

Well, during the course of the following weeks the Guitar solos and overdubs will be recorded, however we have been put on hold as the studio we're recording at is upgrading its desk to.... wait for it... A FULLY AUTOMATED SSL DESK....and ... A 24TRK 2' REEL TO REEL ANALOGUE machine!!! So, what does that all mean to the regular joe out there? It means DARK ORDER's new album is going to sound TWICE a killer as it already does, maybe even three or four times as killer! So trust me dudes & dudettes out there, its a fucking great thing!

I am now predicting the Album will be out in March 2009. But shit can still happen...

Greetings all!

DARK ORDER's condolences (Raul, Sean, Marco & Diego) to mine and Seans long time friend Greg Morelly. I knew Greg for many years, he used to always come into Guitar Crazy when I worked there to hang out and talk guitars, have a coffee....many many times, and he new my Mother when she had the mixed business store in Greenacre. My Mum became very very sadenned when I told her about the accident. When Dark Order played its first show in 1993, Greg was there, and I remember asking him if we were heavy enough and he said "Fuck Yeah!". I sold him a cool BC Rich Japanese NJ series guitar from the 1980's...

Seany mentioned to me the other day that Greg knew Seany since he was little Kid...

Seany as of late had been jamming with Greg & Wayne Campbell too...

So many memories....I am still really feeling his passing...

Greg Morelli has fallen into shadow, but I feel him watching over all the people that ever loved, liked and enjoyed their friendship.

WE miss him heaps...

Update on recording progress...

We have four songs to go in regards to recording the Bass tracks. Seany has used both his P-Bass and his Gibson Ripper on all songs, and in one song in particular the first half is the Ripper and the second half is the P-Bass! So far its sounding fucking amazing!!! These Bass lines are so complex that they could not be played by any other way except with fingers!!!
BUt...the fucking TONE is amazing....
I cant wait to get to the Guitar solo's....then vocals....

The band is very happy with the results so far

Greetings all! Just thought we'd let you know that we're heading in to the Studio to start recording that Bass tracks, complex bass lines that mostly can only be played with fingers, not picks, performed by our master Metal head and friend, our Bass player Sean Veale!
This will be the first time in 2 months that I get to be at the studio only to produce and not to record my own performance.
The album is coming together...and it is a beast! ... Looking forward to seeing some masterful bass playing, the way Bass should be played...with fingers!

Greetings to all fans and the rest!!!!!!

DARK ORDER has just received great news from our records label BATTLEGOD PRODUCTIONS that our albums, like that of all other Battlegod bands will be distributed through the mighty CENTURY MEDIA for the North American and South American region!!!!! We are still be distributed through Europe with TWILIGHT-VERTRIEB. But now all those in the USA can purchase our albums direct from the U.S.!!!!!

ALSO.....this weekend we begin RECORDING OUR THIRD ALBUM!!!! After 5 years of doing this project, sometimes with delays of having to put the project aside several times due to many distruptions, ITS FINALLY BEING PUT TO TAPE!!!!!! I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED personally, and so is the rest of DARK ORDER!!!!!

The album will have 12 songs in total possibly 13 (depends on editing) and is about the Golpe militar of 1973 till its fall in 1989. SO...its a Thrash Metal concept album, in the vein of 'Reign in Blood' crossed with 'Operation: Mindcrime'. We are very sure that you will enjoy it all. It has the aggression of our first album, but much more mature.
